P.—IN PROCEEDINGS UNDER THE RURAL CONSTABLES LAW, 1932.
In proceedings for execution under sec. 29 of the Law only the mileage fee payable
in civil prrceedings is charged.
In other proceedings under the Law the fees payable in civil or, as the case may be.
criminal proceedings are chargeable.
Q.—SHERI COURT FEES :
On issue of a writ of summons :
When claim does not exceed £10
When claim exceeds £10 but not £100
When claim exceeds £100
When the claim is not in respect of money or property
either directly or indirectly
On issue of a summons to a witness :
In an action or application or any other proceeding
On entering a judgment or order
On sealing a writ of execution :
To recover any sum not exceeding £10
To recover any sum exceeding £10 but not £50
To recover any sum exceeding £50
In addition to the above there shall be chargeable and paid
. the following mileage fees under the Sheriff's Officers Rules:
Where the sum to be recovered does not exceed £25
Where it exceeds £25 ..

O n issue of copy of notes of any evidence or of any other
proceedings :
W h e n the copy does not exceed 200 words in English or
130 words in Turkish
For every 100 words or part thereof :

O n filing an application other than an application in a
pending cause or matter
For service of documents required to be served under the
Rules:
(a) Within the limits of the town or village in which the
Court in which the trial will take place is situate
(b) Within a radius offivemiles of such Court where the

(c) Within a radius of five miles in all other cases
(d) For each additional mile but so that the m a x i m u m
shall not exceed os. when claim does not exceed £25 or
when the claim is not in respect of money or property,
and 10a. when the claim exceeds £25
Provided that where in an action there is more than
one defendant, or when summonses of witnesses or
other documents are required to be served in the same
action or application, at the same time and in the same
neighbourhood, there shall be chargeable for each such
additional copy of the writ, or summons to witness or
copy of any other document a fee of Is. respectively
when the claim exceeds £25, and 4jcp. when the claim
does not exceed £25.
