The above figures as regards capacity, -weight sod
length hare been laid down by the Weights and
Measures L a w (No. X I . of 1890.) The donum ii,
however, computed at different sizes by the inhabitants
in different parts of tbe Colony, and under the
Interpretation L a w (No. J. of 1901) it is reckoned
as " 1,600 square yards, according to the British
Imperial Standard."
