INSURANCE OF LETTERS AND BOXES.
Letters and boxes for Great Britain and Northern Ireland, certain British Possessions
and Foreign Countries can be insured, subject to limitations and the Postal Insurance
Regulations, 1925, at the Post Offices at Famagusta, Kyrenia, Larnaca, Limassoi,
Nicosia, Paphos, Pedoulas, Platres and Troodos.
The maximum sum of insurance which may be effected on letters and boxes
.addressed to Great Britain and Egypt is £120.
The fees payable on letters and boxes for countries to which the system of insurance
extends are as follows :—

For letters—
Registration Fee
2£cp.
Insurance fee for every £12 or fraction of that amount of the Bum assured 2cp.
For boxes—
A postage rate of 2cp. for every 2 oz. with a minimum charge of .. lOcp.

Insurance fee for every £12 or fraction of that amount of the sum assured 2cp.
The registration and insurance fees must be pre-paid in addition to the full postage. |
Compensation for the loss of an insured letter, or box, or its contents, will not J
