IMPORTS—continued.
-BBES, HONEY, AND SUBSTANCES CONTAINING HONE* IN AN UNCOOKED §TATB.—Importa–
tion prohibited, except by licence under the hand of the Governor.
CIGARETTE
PAPER.—Importation prohibited except by licence in writing of the Comp–
troller of Customs previously obtained.
BONES.—The importation of unmanufactured bones is prohibited except by special
licence under the hand of the Colonial Secretary under such terms and conditions
as he may thinkfitto impose.
Semi-manufactured bones may be imported at Larnaca (or at suoh other port as the
Director of Health by licence under his hand may permit on appUcation before arrival
of the bones) on the conditions prescribed in the Importation of Bones Order, 1929.
MACHINERY AND APPLIANCES FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF TOBACCO AND CIGARETTES.—
Importation prohibited except by licensed tobacco manufacturers.
3IOLASSES.—Importation prohibited.
3IOTOR C A R S FITTED W I T H LEFT-HAND
DRIVES.—Importation prohibited.
This prohibition does not apply to any motor car in respect of which the Comptroller
of Customs is satisfied (a) that it is imported for the personal use of the importer
and (6) that, prior to its importation, it has been in the bonafidepossession and
-use ofthe importer as a private car in any country outside Cyprus and was purchased
by him prior to hisfirstarrival in Cyprus. The Comptroller of Customs may also
grant a permit to any visitor to Cyprus who is the owner of any motor car with a
left-hand drive to import such motor car subject to the condition that it shall be
exported by the visitor within four months from the date of importation.

RESIN.—Exportation prohibited, except by licence under the
hand of the Governor.
TIMBER, CHARCOAL AND
FIREWOOD.—Being the produce of Cyprus, exportation pro–
hibited except by licence under the hand of the Governor.
MANURB.—Exportation prohibited.
GAME.—Exportation unlawful.
Definition of Game.—Hares, Pheasants, Partridges and Francolins.
yott.—Includes game in any form, pickled or otherwise. A reasonable quantity of
provisions for ships in port may, however, be allowed.
TOBACCO, MANUFACTURED OR
UNMANUFACTURED.—Exportation in ships of less than
sixty tons burthen and in packages of less than ten okes net each prohibited save
under special permit from the Collector of Customs.
This prohibition does not apply to tobacco and manufactured tobacco exported
through the post in any quantity and subject to such conditions as the Comptroller
of Customs may from time to time prescribe.
