The above figures as regards capacity, weight and
length hare been laid down by the Weights and
Measures L a w (No. XI. of 1890.) T h e donum is,
however, computed at different sizes by tbe inhabitants
in different parts of the Colony, and under the
Interpretation L a w (No. X. of 1901) it is reckoned
as " 1,600 square yards, according to the British
Imperial Standard."
