SCHEDULE D.
For and in respect of every public office or employment; of profit, whether public or private
and for and in respect of every annuity, pension or stipend payable out of the public revenue of
this Island, there shall be charged yearly one per cent, on all incomes derived from any of these
sources.
SCHEDULE E.
For and in respect of every nheep and goat there shall he charged yearly the sum of fifteen
paras.

Additional T a x on all property subject to the tax called Verghi Kimat.
In villages the additional tax is two-thirds of the current rates and in towns it is
-twice the current rate.
ADDITIONAL RATES FOR MAINTENANCE, BTC.
T a x under Schedule A is increased by such a percentage as shall be sufficient to provide
the s u m required for repairs, improvements, erection, extension or development of any
..school buildings, premises, etc., etc., and provide the annual interest and sinking fund if
the s u m required has been raised by a loan.
SCHEDULE B.
In addition to the tax ordinarily charged on sheep, goats and pigs, an additional tax
Zcp. is charged on each of these animals.

SCHEDULE A.

ADDITIONAL AMOUNT FOR MAINTENANCE, ETC.
The amount required for repairs, improvements, erection, extension or development
of any school buildings, premises, playgrounds, rents, furniture, maintenance, etc., etc.,
or the annual interest and sinking fund, if the sum required has been raised by a loan,
and for amounts written off as ij-recoverable from post assessments, is provided by the "
apportionment of the amount among the churches, monasteries or throne according to
their property situated in a town or villa-re, :*.nd the Greek-Christian inhabitants of the
town, village or villages according to the means ot* each person.
