The following rates shall be paid as store rent on any article deposited, pending clearance, -j
in the Custom House stores or yards, or other place where they will be under Customs control:—

Provided that no charge be made for thefirstthree days, exclusive of the day of landing and
clearauce and of Sundays and Official Holidays ; and chat goods re-exported, or removed co another
port in the Island, from the Customs stores and yards, and shown to the satisfaction of the
Comptroller of Customs to have been landed in error be exempted from rent for cwo calendar months.
Goods deposited ou any Government quay for shipment may there remain six clear days
before becoming liable to the payment of Customs store rent.
Goods consigned to the Government Railway for transport to a point beyond Famagusta
may remain, after all Customs dues have been paid and Customs formalities complied with, in the
Customs premises, stores, yards and other places under Customs control at Famagusta free of store
rent for ten days from the day following the landing excluding Sundays and Official Holidays.
Goods sent in bond to Nicosia are allowed one clear day rent free for the time occupied in
transport of the goods by rail.
All goods, not put iu bond, which have been landed and deposiced in cue Cuscoms store at
any port in Cyprus and declared at the time of landing to be destined for any foreign port or for
other ports in Cyprus and which are eventually removed to such port or ports, shall for any
••eriod noe exceeding 10 day3 be exempt from che payment of 3tore rent. After the expiration
of 10 days such goods shall for any period not exceeding one calendar month be liable to the
Bonded Warehouse Rent charges, and after the expiration of that period the ordinary store
n-tits shall be charged for such goods.
Provided that w h e n goods have been in store for more than 10 days on which ordinary
store rent is payable the following rates shall be charged :—
