SCHEDULE A.
Additional Tax on all property subject to the tax called Verghi Kimat.
In villages the additional tax is two-thirds of the current rates and in towns it is
twice the current rate.
ADDITIONAL RATES FOR MAINTENANCE, ETC.
T a x under Schedule A is increased by such a percentage as shall be sufficient to provide
the s u m required for repairs, improvements, erection, extension or development of any
school buildings, premises, etc., etc., and provide the annual interest and sinking fund if
the sum required has been raised by a loan.
SCHEDULE B.
In addition to the tax ordinarily charged on sheep, goats and pigs, an additional tax
of 3cp. is charged on each of these animals.

The amount required for repairs, improvements, erection, extension or development
of any school buildings, premises, playgrounds, rents, furniture, maintenance, etc., etc.,
or the annual interest and sinking fund, if the sum required has been raised by a loan,
and for amounts written off as irrecoverable from past assessments, is provided by the
apportionment of the amount among the churches, monasteries or throne according to
their property situated in a town or village, and the Greek-Christian inhabitants of the
town, village or villages according to the means of each person.
