* ROYALTIES.
ORIGINAL MINES.
Mineral deposits containing gold, silver, platinum, mercury, lead, iron, copper, tin,
zinc, bismuth, cobalt, nickel, chrome, arsenic,
antimony, aluminium, sulphur,
orpiment, alum, coal of various descriptions, bitumen, naphtha, and any other analogous
substances, and precious stones of anv kind whatsoever:
Proportional duties from the annual product without deducting the expenses
1 per cent.-5 per cent, (a)
If taken from the pure mineral substances after the same have been smelted and
liquefied, the costs of smelting and liquefying shall be deducted.
Emery and mccrs-r-haum : Dutv to be fixed according to the mine.
Government is at liberty io take mining duties in land or in money according to the
current prices of the time.
The proportional duties are recoverable in the following year by instalments.

The following charges are payable to tbe Customs Treasury of the District of Larnaca by
an? oerson storing anv exnlosive substance in the Government Store at Larnaca:—

than 10 okes of explosive substance.
2 copper piastres per month, or part thereof for every keg or case containing more :ban
10 okes.
In tbe case of storage rate of any explosive subsrance remaining unpaid forfimontbs, tbe
