Under the Education L a w (other than Greek-Christian) 192'', a moi–
ety of the expenditure necessary for these Scln-oh is raised by
direct taxation, the other moiety is provided by Govenment Grant.
"Voluntary contributions" represent the amounts added by the
local Committees for School Maintenance.
