* PORT, HEALTH AND LIGHT DUES.
1. O n all vessels arriving at a port in Cyprus from a foreign port and calling at Cyprus
ports without between their calls at any such pores having called at a foreign port.
(a) At the first port:

For every con of registered tonnage exceeding 800 tons ...

(o) At each of the second or third port3, when the above mentioned dues hare been said
in full, half the abore rates with a m a x i m u m amount of six pounds at each port.
N o dues are payable in respect of a vessel if she calls at a fourth or subsequent port within
four weeks from the dace of leaving the third port.
(c) After the expiration of four weeks from the time of learin-j the third port, for all calls
at Cyprus port3 within a period of four weeks :

2. O n every vessel which has not come from a foreign pore and which calls at porta in

3. Ships arriving at any pore in Cyprus from a foreign port or from another port in Cyprus
and leaving such port in Cyprus wichout having taken cargo and without having landed or
taken ou board passengers, and having on board empcy barrels or empty cases ouly and
discharging such empcy barrels or empcy cases and no other cargo :

i. Dues payable in respect of any ship, other than a steamer, may be compounded for by
the payment in advance of one shilling for each ton of the ship's regiscered tonnage for avery
half year. A half year shall be deemed to be any period between the 1st January and the 30th
June or between the lst July and the 31st December in any year.
