DRUGS.—Importation
prohibited, except under Ucence of the Chief Medical
Officer in writing previously obtained.
Definition of Dangerous Drugs.—" Dangerous drug " includes opium, morphine, cocaine,
ecgonine, and diamorphine (commonly known as heroin), and their respective salts,
and any preparation, admixture, extract, or other substance containing not less
than one-fifth per cent, of morphine or one-tenth per cent, of cocaine, ecgonine
or diamorphine (the percentage in the case of morphine shall be calculated as in
respect of anhydrous morphine).
N O T E . — A J 1 the products of thefirmof F. Hoffmann—La Roche and Company, of Basle,
Switzerland, which contain dangerous drugs as defined in sec. 34 (1) and (2) of Law 24
of 1879 are prohibited wholly to be imported into Cyprus.
tOTTLTBY.—Importation from Egypt, Palestine and Syria prohibited. -
SHAVING
BRUSHES.—The
importation of shaving brushes manufactured in or exported
from the Empire of Japan is prohibited.
CINEMATOGRAPH
FILMS.—Importation
prohibited, except by license of the Chief Com–
mandant of Police in writing previously obtained.
BEES, HONE v. AND SUBSTANCES CONTAINING HONE* IN AN UNCOOKED STATE.—Importa–
tion prohibited, except by license under the hand of the Governor.
EXPORTS.
AjJTiyL'iTiES.—Exportation prohibited without the permission of Government.
BARK, TAR, PITCH AND
RESIN.—Exportation
prohibited, except by license under the
hand of the High Commissioner.
TIMBER, CHARCOAL AND
FIREWOOD.—Being
the produce of Cyprus, exportation pro–
hibited except by license under the hand of the Governor.
MANURE.—Exportation prohibited
GAME.—Exportation unlawful.
Definition of Game.—Hares, Pheasants, Partridges and Francolins.
Xote.—Includes game iu any form, pickled or otherwise. A reasonable quantitv of
provisions for ships in port mav, however, be allowed.
SKINS OR EGGS
of Game or Wild Bird.—Exportation unlawful. The Governor may
however allow exportation for scientific purposes.

STORES.—The
Goveruor mar prohibit exportation,
or the carriage coastwise, in order to prevent their being used against His Majesty's
subjects or forces, or against any forces engaged or which may be engaged in co-operation
with His Majesty's forces.
The exportation to China of arms, ammunition and munitions of war of
every description, excluding sporting weapons and ammunition therefor, is
prohibited except by license under the hand of the Governor.

anti-opium remedies) containing not less than one-fifth per cent, of morphine, or one-
tenth per cent, of cocaine, ecgonine or diamorphine (the percentage in the case of mor–
phine shall be calculated as in respect of anhydrous morphine), or such other drug as may
from time to time be declared by Order in Council to be a dangerous drug.
