Every male person being either an Ottoman or a British Subject, or bavin-*; resided in the Island uot less thanfiveyeari
who has auained che age of 21 years and who is a payer of auy class of che taxes called Verghi, and has, ou or before che day
appointed for the making of the Voters' Lists in any year paid in respect of any Electoral District all Verghi payable bv hita
up to the 13th day of January (" N e w Style ") previous, is entitled to be registered as a voter, and, when so registered, to vote at
the ele :tioo of Members for such District.
His lace Majesty's Order in Council, dated 6th Jnly, 1907, providing for the formation of the Legislative Council, direct!
that there shall h. a session once at least iu each year so that a period of twelve calendar months do not intervene between
the last sitting in one session and thefirstsitting in the neit session.
