* FEES FOR THE REGISTRATION OF BRITISH SHIPS, LARNACA.
TABLE OF M A X I M U M FEES TO BE PAID ON T H E REGISTRATION,
TRANSFER A N D M O R T G A G E OF SHIPS.
1.—REGISTRATION.
(1) On Initial Registry:—
Vessels under 50 tons gross
„ 50 to 100 „ •••
„ 100 to 200 „ ..."
with 10s. for every additional 100 tons or fraction thereof.
2.—TRANSFER AND MORTGAGE.
(2) On Transfer, Transmission, Registry anew, Transfer of Registry, Mortgage and
Transfer of Mortgage.
According to the gross tonnage represented by the ships or shares of Bhips transferred, &c.
(e.g., the transfer of a l/64th share in a ship of 6,400 tons to be reckoned as the transfer

and a further fee of 2s. 4<|c.p. for every additional 50 tons or part of 50 tons, up to 500 tons, after
which 2s. 4ic.p. for every 100 tons or part of 100 tons. But the above fees shall not be
payable in respect of vessels solely employed infishingor sailing ships of nnder one hundred tons.
Inspection of Register Book

For a certified copy of the particulars entered in the Register Book
on the registry of a sliip, together with a certified statement showing
the ownership of the ship at the time being
For a certified copy of any declaration, or document, a copy of which
is made evidence by the Act
For any certified extract from the Register fourpence for every folio
of ninety words or part of ninety words.
Pass for ship ...
Alteration in register of rig or tonnage
For annexing the seal of office and signature to any document
not mentioned iu or otherwise provided for by this table
For measurement of tounage as under :—

For the inspection of the berthing or sleeping accommodation of the crew:—
For each visit to the ship

Provided as follows :—
(a.) The aggregate amonnt of the fees for any such inspection shall
not exceed £ 1 whatever be the number of separate visits.
(b.) W h e n the accommodation is inspected at the same time with the
measurement of the tonnage no separate fee shall be charged for
the inspection.
For the inspection of light and fog signals :—
For each visit made to the ship on the appUcation of the owner and
for each visit made where the lights orfittingsare found defective 0 10 0
Provided that the aggregate amount of fees for any such inspection shall
not exceed £1 whatever be the number of separate visits.
For the inspection of the marking of a ship:—
For each visit made to the ship on the appUcation of the owner and
for each visit made where the provisions of the Merchant Shipping
ActB with respect thereto have not been compUed with

Provided as foUows :— •
(a.) The aggregate amount of the fees for any such inspection shall not exceed 10s.
whatever be the number of separate visits.
(b.) W h e n tbe marking is inspected at the same time as the vessel is being measured
for regiBtry on re-registry no separate fee shall be charged for the inspection.
