C O U R T FEES—continued.
H.—IN ACTIONS BEFORE VILLACX JUDGKS:
Proceedings in respect of which a fee is payable to a Village Judge :—
(1) On issue of a writ of summons where there is a claim for
money in respect of any debt demand or damage :—
(a) Where the amount claimed does not exceed £5
(6) Where the amount claimed exceeds £5 and does not
exceed £10
(c) Where the amount claimed exceeds £10 or where no
definite sum is claimed and in all cases other than those
mentioned in item (2) hereof, in which the recovery of money
is not the sole object of the action
(2) On issue of a writ of summons where the action is in respect
of arightto the use in common of immovable property dedi–
cated to the public or for partition
(3) Where in any proceeding more than one writ of summons
is issued there shall be charged for each writ subsequent to the
first if it does not exceed 200 words in English or Greek or
130 in Turkish
and for every additional 100 words or part thereof :—
ia) in English or Greek
(6) n Turkish
(4) On issue of a summons to a witness :—
(a) Where the amount claimed does not exceed £10 or in cases
under item (2) ..
(6) Where the amount claimed exceeds £10 or where no defi–
nite sum is claimed and in all cases, other than those under
item (2) in which the recovery of money is not the sole
object of the action
(5) On issue of a copy of a judgment :
(a) Where the amount claimed does not exceed £10 or in cases
under item '2)
(6) Where the amount claimed exceeds £10 or where no defi–
nite sum is claimed and in all cases, other than those under
item (2) in which the recovery of money is not the sole
object of the action

O n filing copy of a judgment endorsed by a Village Judge
O n fnmishing a copy of the notes of any evidence taken on the
hearing of an action before a Village Judge : *
Where the copy does not exceed 200 words in English or Greek
or 130 words in Turkish
For every additional 100 words or part thereof :

N o fee is payable in respect of such proceedings ; but, in the case of copiei of any orders,
warrants or other proceedings being required by any other than the Commissioner or Principal
Officer of Customs of the District in which the proceedings are taken, or any person authorized
by either of them to apply on his behalf, then the copies shall be furnished on the same terms
and on payment of the same fees as are payable inrespectof the furnishing of copies of thefileof
proceedings in a civil action, such fee to be applied and disposed of in the same manner as fees
paid for copies of suchfileof proceedings.
