PATENTS FEES.
T h e following fees shall lie paid in pursuance of the Patents L a w , 1920 :—
1. O n application for a Certificate of Entry in the Register of Patents
2. O n publication in the Cyprus GazeUe of the grant of such Certificate
3. O n application made on assignment or transmission of Certificate
4. O n any other application or notice
5. O n publication in the Cyprus Gazette of any application or other matter
requiring to be published
6. O n every search or inspection ofthe Register ...
7. O n inspection of any specification
8. Every Certificate under seal of the Registrar ...

* TAX OX ANIMALS.
SHEEP AND GOAT TAX.
2k silver piastres ("lien.J per head yearly on every sheep and ocp. per head yeariy on
every goat one year old and upwards.
The tax on goats may lie increased and that on sheep decreased by the High Commissioner
in Council provided that no increase shall be made in the total amount receivable as calculated
upon the basis of the last preceding official returns of the numbers of sheep and goats in the
Island.
Sheep and goats not produced by the owners at the first official enumeration and uncounted
thereat are liable :o doubie tax.
PIG TAX.
•Hep. per bead yearly on every pig over three months old.
Pigs not produced by the owners at the hrst official enumeration and uncounted thereat are
liable to doui/in tax.

EXEMPTIONS.

expired if the tithe on olives were still leviable.
