LICENSE DUTIES PAYABLE IN RESPECT OF THE SALE
OF INTOXICATING LIQUORS BY RETAIL.
For every hotel, auy premises occupied by any club, restaurant or other place used for the
•ale of intoxicating Uquors by retail, an annual percentage on the rental or yearly value of the
premises so used after the rate of 50 per cent, but so that the license duty for an hotel shall not
exceed £10 per annum, or for a club-house £ 5 per annum, and so that the license duty for any
other premises so used shall not exceed the sum £ 2 0 per annum, and so that the lowest aunual
rate of duty chargeable shall be for premises in any of the towns of Nicosia, Larnaca, Famaguata
(including Varoehia), Kyrenia, Kcima and Limassoi £-1 per annum, and for premises in any other
place £l 10s. per annum.
For selling by retail in any tent or booth or in the open air - - - 2a. per day.
EXPORT DUTIES.
Upon all "Wine exported from the Island a duty at the rate of 8 paras per (liquid) gallon.

STORAGE OF GUNPOWDER, 6c.
The following charges are payable to the Cuscoms Treasury of the District of Larnaca by
any person storing any explosive substance in the Government Store at Laraaca:—
1 copper piastre per month, or part thereof for every keg or case containing not more
than 10 okes of explosive substance.
2 copper piastres per mouth, or part thereof for every keg or case containing more than
10 okes.
In the case of storage rate of any explosive substance remaining unpaid for 6 months, the
Chief Collector of Cuscoms may sell a sufficient quantity to cover the arrears of the storage rate.
The Board of Evkaf is entitled to store explosive substances in the Government Store
without the payment of any race.

EXAMINATION OF ANDIALS BY VETERINARY SURGEON. •
The following fees are payable iu respecc of animals examined by the Veterinary Surgeon
or his deputy prior to shipment:—

FEES UNDER THE WRECKS LAW (No. 12) 1S86.
For wreck taken by the Receiver into his custody a commission offivepouuds per hundred
