Moslem Schools.—Under Voluntary Contributions £343
paid by Evkaf and £77 from Municipality Funds.
Greek-Christian Schools.—Under Voluntary Contributions
the sum £258 represents Endowments and Voluntary
Contributions from private subscriptions.
NOTE.
The average daily attendance in Moslem Elementary
Schools was 5.517.
And in Greek-Christian Schools 29.613. Attendances
of Boys and Girls have not been separately recorded.

The Gymnasium comprises also Training Branch.
These Schooh are managed by the Town School
Committee. They have received £800 from
"-School Fund" in addition to the Grant.

This Seminary is under the control of the Holy Synod
of Cyprus of which the Archbishop is President.
This is a Private School on the lines of an
English Grammar School. T h e language of
instruction is English, but Turkish, Greek and
French aud Arabic are also taught, and boys
of all races are received.
