Persons wishing to ship goods on a foul vessel must be furnished with a guard, who will
undergo the same quarantine as that to which the ship is subject. This guard will be charged
for at the rate of 3s. 44c.p. per diem.

EXEMPTIONS FROM QUARANTINE D U E S .
All Goods imported by His Majesty's Government or for the Government of Cyprus to be
used in the public service and duly certified as so imported by the Chief Secretary are exempt
from the payment of Quarantine Dues.

(I). Lighters discharging cargo from vessels in the Harbour or taking cargo for shipment

(-). Vessels which neither land Foreign cargo nor take cargo on board for a Foreign Port,
to pay half the rate above described.
(3). A n y vessel occupying a berth on more than 6 working days during her stay in the
harbour, to pay a further rate for each additional period of 6 working days equal to half the rate
above prescribed.
