Legislative Council,directs
that there shall be a ses–
sion once at least in eaoh
year so that a period of
twelve calendar months
do not intervene between
the last sitting in one
session and thefirstsit–
ting: in the next session.

The High Commis–
sioner m a y prorogue or
dissolve the Council when–
ever he thinks fit, but,
unless sooner dissolved,
the Elective Members
hold their seats until the
expiration of live years
from the return of the
first writs at the last
General Election.
