INSURANCE ON PARCELS.
I. If anv article of pecuniary value enclosed in or forming part of an insured parcel be lust

paid as aforesaid compensation to an additional amouut of £12 m a y be paid ; provided that the
amount of compensation payable iu respect of any one parcel shall in no case exceed the limit of
insurance hereinafter mentioned.
+. (it) Parcels containing watches, jewellery or any other articles of gold or silver cannot be
sent by parcel post unless insured for at least part of their value.
(/•) Pan-els containing coin cannot be accepted for transmission by parcel post even
if insured.
(c) A n y par«,-*;l posted uninsured and found to contain auy of the above named articles will
be returned to the sender by the Island Postmaster or his deputies.
(••?) A compulsory registration fee of 4rp. will be collected on the delivery of every uninsured
pan-el received from the places hereinafter mentioued and found to contain any of the above
n a m e d articles.
