REMARKS.
Fair Carriage Road. The cost shewn is that of the portion from Omodhos to Man
that of the remainder cannot be ascertained, being included in the total cost of the Old
Wine Road System of Roads now abolished.

Fair Carriage Road from Famagusta to Trikomo and on to Rizo-Karpas.—See Nicosia-
Trikomo Road.
Cart Road, practicable infineweather abandoned for maintenance.
Fair Carriage Road, surfaced with gravel for short distance.
Fair carriage Road, surfaced with gravel, etc., for half distance. Connects Troodos with
the Government Railway at Kopia.
Fair Carriage Road only metalled as far as Lapithos, but foundationed in parts.
Cart Road. Formation completed though not metalled throughout.
Fair Carriage Road as far as Polis and 4 miles of road beyond. Remainder formed and
passable in summer only.
Karavostasi—Pomos Road. Fair Carriage Road unmetalled, but bridged and foundationed
in parts.
Bridle Road. This road commences at the village of Akhelia on the Paphos-Limassol
Main Road, and terminates at the village of Kelokethara includes cost of Nata Causewav.
The Mamonia Valley Road leaves the Limassoi—Paphos Road at the Xero River and
joins the Limassoi—Troodos Road near Mandria passing Giaz and Ay. Nicolaos. Open for
cart traffic between the Limassoi—Paphos main road and Ay. Nicolaos. Includes
£603 3s. lc.p. cost of Bridge at Giaz and numerous smaller bridges also have been built.

£2,000 subscribed from Island Funds towards construction of this road in 1879, and
£10,871 13s. 2cp. spent from Island Funds for maintenance 1897-98 to 1912-13.

Formation and bridging completed ; good for wheel traffic infineweather.
Good Carriage Road.
All opened as bridle, path to be widened into third class road. 1 mile at Ac-ros and
between Zoopiyi and Yerasa already opened to full width. From Limassoi to Palodhia
is Village Cart Road. Open for cart traffic to Zoopiyi.
Fair Carriage Road in summer, all opened as 3rd class Cai-riage Road. Complete but
not metalled.
Complete but not metalled from near Goshi to Pera Khorio. Rest driveable to
Lythrodonda; gradually being reconstructed by Village labour
Formation with footpaths 60 feet wide. Metalled 18 feet wide. Maintained from Villao-e
Road Funds.
Fair Carriage Road in summer but not metalled, except at Ay. Symeon ; so impassable in
wet weather.
