tory with a steam cutting machine;
sixteen steam flour and cotton mills ;
silk and cotton looms; calico printers;
copper-, silver-, and gold-smiths;
dyers ; bootmakers ; rope-walks;
twenty printing presses (apart from
the Government Press); nine distil–
leries, in the town of Nicosia, an
Iron Casting Manufactory, and two
dairies.
Fifteen flour and cotton mills
(water power), three of steam power,
and one cotton loom of steam power,
in M o r p h o u Nahieh.
Sixty-one flour and cotton mills
(water power), one tannery, in Lefka
Nahieh.
