27. The sender of each parcel will be required co fill up a Cuscora House Declaracion Form
which may be obcained at any Office where Parcel Post business is conducted. Cpon this form
must be given an accurate statement of the contents and value, date of posting, and the sender'-?
signature and address.
DEMCRRAGE.
2S. Parcels from Foreign Countries, if undeliverable. will be reeained ac a Pose Office for
a period noe exceeding throe monchs, and demurrage will ouly accrue when parcels may,
under special inscruceious, have to be recaiued loug-r. The charge for demurrage will be ac che
race of lcp. per diem.
CUSTOMS REGULATIONS.
29. Parcels on arrival here from Foreign Councries will be liable to examination by au
Officer of Customs, who will assess the amounc of Cuscoms dues co be charged chereon. The
Cuscoms dues will be collected at the time of dehvery, and no parcel can be delivered uncil che
Cuscoms and all other charges are paid.
30. Parcels found to contain forbidden articles ind parcels, the contents and value of which
have been false!} declared, may l)e dealt wich a-^-ording co che law3 on che subjecc. And
generally che senders of parcels, whether in Foreign Countries or Cyprus, wdl be required to
conform co che Cuscoms and ocher laws or regulations from time to time in force in respecc of
such parcels.
UNDELTVERED PARCELS.
31. A parcel which cannot be delivered will be reeained at the Post Office to which it is
addressed for a period uot exceeding three months; but if possible che sender will be consulted
through the Postal office of origin, as to its disposaL
3*_*. Parcels which cannot be delivered, reeurned to the senders, or re-directed, and which
have thus become undeliverable, will eventually be re:urned to the country of origin.
33. Parcels becoming offensive or injurious co any Officer of the Post Office or ocher person
or to ocher parcels will be disposed of as the Island Poscmascer may direct.
PRIVATE BOX REGULATIONS.
Private boxes can be rented at the Post Offices Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassoi, Famagusta, No. 724 of lith Apr:!,
Kyrenia, Papho and Platres, at the undermentioned rates:—
Class A. ... ... ... ... -1 per annum or 2s. per mensem.

The above payments must be made in advance and ao person will be allowed the use of a
box until he has arst paid therefor in accordance wi:h. the al>ove scale.
2. A key with a number label will be supplied :o each renter of a box on his depositing with
the Clerk in Char-cre the sum of 4s. which will be r-turned if the renter, on ceasing to rent his
box, eives back bis key and number label. The renter will be responsible for che safe custody of
the key and label.
In the event of a key being lost another key will be suoplied to che renter on his depositing a
further sum of 4s. which will be returned if the lose key is given back to the Clerk in Charge
wichin one monch from the dace when the new key was supplied. If the lost key is not given
back within this period the deposit will become forfeit.
3. The Island Postma-Sfcv, if he thinks proper, may refuse to allot a box to an applicant
without assigning any reasons for so doing, or may withdraw che privilege of renting a box by
-rivine to che renter a month's notice of his intention to do so. A n y balance of rent which may
be due to the renter at the expracion of such period shall be refunded.
