WHARFAGE DUES FOR IMPORTS—continued.
EXEilPTIOSS.
^Articles for the High Commissioner, for the Government of Cvprus, or for the Army
or Navy, Personal Ba-z^age; Charcoal; Empcy Sacks. Casks and Packages (noe including
Jars or Demijohns) ; Firewood ; Manure; Specie; .Screw • Wooden Hoops and Staves for
Casks; bond fide Samples of no marketable value : and Goods from ocher Ports in Cyprus;
and Sulphur.
All goods landed at any port in Cyprns and declared ac the cime of landing to be
destined for a foreign port, and all goods landed in error shall on exportation be exempt from
ths wharfage dues for imports only. Such goods shall be liable only co the dues for Exports as
set forth in che scale of wharfage clues for Export.
By Law No. 22 of 1899, sec. 22 (4) stores and equipment for vessels of war and yachts used
solely for the purposes of pleasure are exempt from the payment of wharfage dues.
