Articles shipped by the High Commissioner, by the Governmenc of Cyprus, or for the
A r m y or Navy, Personal Baggage, Empty Sacks. Casks or Packages (not inclnding Jars or
Demijohns), Scraw; Mats for dunnage, bona fid* Stores and provisions for ships in port in
reasonable quantities, Specie, Cereals, unenumerated Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, Raisins, Beans
and Peas, Cheese, Cocton, Cotton seed and Cotton goods, Gypsum, Terra Umbra, Vinegar, Wines
and Spirics.
B y section 9 of L a w 17 of 1901, scores and eqnipmenc for vessels of war and for yacht3 used
solely for purposes of pleasure are exempt from the paymenc of Port Charges.
The foregoing charges may be compounded, in the case of Sailing Vessels only, by payment
in advance of Is. per ton regiscer, for every half year, i>., any period" becween Ise January and
30th June or between lst July and 31st December.
