E X E M P T I O N - S .
Articles shipped by the High Commissioner, by the Government of Cyprus, or for the
A r m y or Xavy, Personal Baggage, Empty Sacks. Casks or Packages (not including Jars or
Demijohns), Straw • Mats for dunnage, bona fide Stores and provisions for ships in port in
reasonable quantities, Specie, Cereals, unenumeraced Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, Raisins, Beans
and Peas, Cheese, Cotton, Cotton seed and Cotcon goods, Gypsum, Terra Umbra, Vinegar, Wines
and Spirics.
By seccion 9 of L a w 17 of 1901, stores and equipment for vessels of war and for yacht3 used
solely for purposes of pleasure are exempt from the payment of Port Charges.
The foregoing charges may be compounded, in the case of Sailing Vessels only, by payment
in advance of Is. per ton register, for every half year, i*., any period between lst January and
30th June or between lst July and 31st December.
WHARFAGE DUES.
Leviable at the Ports of Larnaca, Limassoi, Papho, Kyrenia, Famagnsta,
Carpas and Lefka.
Also at Zvgi.
