Island not less than five
years, who has attained
the age of 21 years and
who is a payer of any
class of the taxes called
Verghi, and has, on or
before the day appointed
for the making of the
Voters' Lists in any year
paid in respect of any Elec–
toral District all Verghis
payable by him up to
the 13th day of January
(" new style ") previous,
is entitled to be registered
as a voter, and, when so
registered, to vote at the
election of Members for
such District. Every
Elector m a y vote for as
many candidates in his
District as there are M e m –
bers to be elected for
w h o m he is entitled to
vote ; he may only give
one vote to anv candidate,

but he need not vote for
the full number to be
elected
The Island is divided
into three Electoral Dis–
tricts, as follows :—
1st Electoral District
Comprising the Cazas of
Nicosia and Kyrenia.
2nd Electoral District
Comprising the Cazas of
Famagusta and Larnaca.
3rd Electoral Distinct
Comprising the Cazas of
Limassoi and Papho.
