A Government Savings Bank was opened on the lst January, 1903, under
the provisions of Law XVI. of 1900. Interest at 2£ per cent, is allowed on
deposits of each complete pound for each complete month.
On the 31st December, 1905. the number of Depositors was 99, and the
amount deposited £2,501 lis. 7cp.
