BEDEL ASKERI.
(MILITARY EXEMPTION TAX.)
TCO shillings and four aud a half copper piastres per head for all male inhabitants of
the Island, not being foreigners, of not less than 18 years or more than CO years of age.
EXEMPTION**.
Priests of all religious denominatious ; all persons who are exempt from Military Service
by Turkish law either by personal service or by payment made before the passing of Ordinance
No. V. of 1878 ; all persous mentally or physically incapacitated from Military Service;
and all persous in the Militaiy ov Civil employment of the Government of the Island.
