A Government Savings Bank was opened on the 1st January, 1903, under
the provisions of Law XVI. of 1900. Interest at 2£ per cent, is allowed on
deposits of each complete pound for each complete month.
On the 31st March. 1904. the number of Depositors was 76, and the
