E X E M P T I O N S .
Articles shipped by the High Commissioner, by the Government of Cyprus, or for
the Army or Navy; Personal Baggage; Empty Sacks, Casks or Packages, (not including
Jars or Demijohns) ; Straw; Mats for dunnage ; bond fide stores and provisions for ships in
Port in reasonable quantities; Goods for other places in Cyprus; and Specie.
By Law IV. of 1885, stores and equipment for vessels of war and for yachts used solely
for the purposes of pleasure shall be exempt from the payment of wharfage dues.
LEVIABLE AT ZII.
The following articles pay the wharfage dues provided in the foregoing scale of wharfage
dues for exports when shipped at Zii,- viz : Carobs, Barley, Wheat, Vetches.

Charges for the use of accommodation and water.
Passengers in quarantine are charged according to the following scale for the use of
available accommodation and water:—

Charges in respect of any vessel on which a medical inspection is performed.
T h e following quarantine dues are payable in respect of any vessel on which a medical \
inspection is performed by the Healch Officer:—
For every visit on board a steamer
„ sailing vessel over 50 tons
„ sailing vessel uuder 50 tons
Dues charged on vessels which have come to Cyprus solely for the piupose of
performing quarantine.
