The Maronites are under the anthoricy of an Archbishop residing in Syria; the Roman Catholics and Armenian
Catholics under the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem.
The Sisters of che Freuch Order of Sc. Joseph of the Apparicion have a Convent, School, and dispensary ac Larnaca,
and Convenes and Schools at Xicosia and at Limassoi.
The Monks of the Franciscan Order have a Monastery, two Churches and a School at Larnaca, and Monasteries with
Schools attached ac Xicosia and Limassoi. They depend on the " Custodia" of Terra Santa.
The Maronites have eighc Churches aud four Monasceries in the Island.
The Armenians have a Church at Xicosia, aad a Monastery aud Chapel in the Kyrenia Discrict.
There is oue Church of England Church, thac of Sc. Paul at Xicosia.
