T h e circumference of the tree to he measured 5 feet from the ground and the height
from H feet above the ground to such height as will allow a balk of timber to be cur.
Xioeu-e for timber cut from fallen or dead trees in State Forests,—a due of one-third
of such timber delivered at such place as the Principal Forest Officer shall direct.

5.—License to transport dry wood from the forest to any town or village
other than the villages referred to iu C h m s e 7 of the " W o o d s and
Forests Ordinance, lb'79:"

For every two-wheeled cart ...

7.—Juniper (aornra) for well ropes, for every 500 branches or part
thereof
8.—For arbutus cut for making chairs, per chair
9.—For any license to collect or remove any forest produce not hereinbefore m e n –
tioned, a due not exceeding 25 per cent, ou the value of the produce.
