and tor yachts used solely f.-r pur- o-es of pleasure arc exempt from the payment of Port
Charges.
The foregoing charges may be compounded, in the case of Sailing Vessels only, In–
payment in advance of ls. por ton register, for every half year, i.e., any period between lst
January and 30th June or between 1st July and 31st December.
In respect of the Steamer subsidized for the Coasting Trade the above rates do uot apply.

For every guard ou board ships in quarantine

In addition, quarantine dues as follows will be levied :—
For ships of 1 to 50 tons...

Men-of-war and ships driven into port under stress of weather are exempted from the above
dues.

Charges for the use of accommodation and icater.
Passengers in quarantine are charged according to the following scale for the use of
available accommodation and water:—

Children under seven years ot age and paupers are exempt.
Charges in respect of any vessel on which a medical inspection is performed.

inspection is performed by the Health Officer:—

Dues charged on vessels ichich have come to Cyprus solely for the purpose of
performing quarantine.
A n d in addition to the above or any quarantine dues, the following dues are charged on
vessels which, in the opinion of the Chief Medical Officer or the Cliief Port Authoritv, have
come to Cyprus solely for the purpose of performing quarantine:—
