TWO shillings and four and a half copper piastres per head for all male inhabitants of
the Islaud, not being foreigners, of not less than 18 years or more than 60 years of age.
EXEMPTION'S.
Priests of all religious denominations ; all persons who are exempt from Military Service
by Turkish law either by personal service or by payment made before the passing of Ordinance
Xo. T. of 1S73 ; all p'ersous mentally or physically incapacitated from Military Service;
and all persons in the Military or Civil employment of the Government of the Island.
