- LOCUST TAX.
ACTHORITT.
(To provide money for the destruction of Locusts.)
A.—For and in respect of all titheable pnxluce one per cent, on the valae of such produce
over and above the ordinarv tithe.
B . — F o r aad in respect of all .houses, shops and other buildings yeariy the following sums,
that is to say :—
(a). For honses,;shops and other buildings the verghi of which is charged on their
estimated value (verghi kimat), one thousandth part on snch estimated value.
(b). For houses, shops and other buildings the verghi of which is charged ou then-
estimated annual value (verghi irad), one per ceut. of such estimated annual value.
D . — F o r and in respect of every annuity, pension or stipend payable out of the public revenue
of this Island, yearly, one per cent, on all incomes derived from any of these sources,
amounting to £200 a year or more.
E . — F o r and in respect of every sheep and goat yearly the sum of 15 paras.

For an advertisement of a nocice of any writ of summons and of the order directing the
advertisement of the same, where the advertisement does not occupy more space
than one column of the Gazette
