EXEMPT
: Articles shipped by the High Commissioner, by the Government of
Cyprus, or for the Army or Navy; Personal Baggage; Empty Sacks, Casks or Packages,
(not including Jars or Demijohns) ; Straw; Mats for dunnage; bondfidestores and pro–
visions for ships in Port in reasonable quantities ; Goods for other places in Cyprns ;
and Specie.
By Law TV. of 1885, stores and equipment for vessels of war and for yatchs used
solely for the purposes of pleasure shall be exempt from the payment of wharfage dues.
LEVIABLE AT ZII:
The following articles pay the wharfage dues provided in the foregoing scale of
wharfage dues for exports when shipped at Zii, viz :
Carobs, Barley, Wheat, Vetches.
PIER RATES.
Larnaca, Limassoi and Paphos.
BERTHAGE.
Vessels lying alongside the Piers are charged the following rates for berthage :—
Vessels under 75 tons burthen - - - - 2s.
Vessels of 75 tous burthen and upwards . . .
ic.p. per ton.
(The tons chargeable to be Begister Tons according to rules of measurement for the
time being in force in England.)
(1). Lighters discharging cargo from vessels in the Harbour or taking cargo for
shipment on board such vessels, exempt.
(2). Vessels which neither land Foreign cargo nor take cargo on board for a Foreign
Port, to pay half the rate above described.
(3). Any vessel occupyiug a berth ou more than 6 working davs during her stay in
the harbour, to pay a further rate for each additional period of 6 working days equal to "hah"
the rate above prescribed.

Vessels and Lighters using the Crane pay the following rates :—
