The Eye Hospital was built
by subscription to com–
memorate the Jubilee of Her
Majesty the Queen; it is under
the administration of the
Government, but owing to
the want of a female ward in
the general Hospital the beds
are used for female 2">atients.
The Hospital is founded by
voluntary effort, and aided
by Government contribution
of £50 a year, medical at–
tendance, drucs, &C.
The Hospital is managed by
a Committee ou which the
.Commissioner has a seat.
The services of the District
Medical Officer and of a
Compounder, together with
medicines, are supplied gratis
by the Government and the
Hospital receives a grant of
monev from Government.
