visions for ships in Port in reasonable quantities; Goods for other places in Cyprus;
and Specie.
By Law IT. of 18S5, stores and equipment for vessels of war and for yatchs used
solely for the purposes of pleasure shnll be exempt from the payment of wharfage dues.

" The following articles pay the wharfage dues provided in the foregoing scale of
wharfage dues for exports when shipped at Zii, viz:

PIER RATES.
Larnaca, Limassoi and Paphos.
BERTHAGE.
Vessels lying alongside the Piers are charged the following rates for berthage :—
Vessels under 75 ton3 burthen - - - - 2s.
Vessels of 75 tons burthen and upwards - - . * - . £c.p- per ton.
(The tons chargeable to be Register Tons according to rules of measurement for the
-time being iu force in England.)
(1). Lighters discharging cargo from vessels in the Harbour or taking cargo for;
shipment on board such vessels, exempt.
(2). Vessels which neither land Foreign cargo nor take cargo on board for a Foreign j
Port, to pay half the rate above described.
(3). Anv vessel occurring a berth ou more than 6 working days during her stay ml
ibe harbour, io pay a further rate for each additional period of 6 working days equal to half V
the rate abore prescribed.
