Of the Maronite faith there are eight Churches and four Monasteries.
At Larnaca there is a Roman Catholic Convent of the Order of St. Joseph,
and a Chapel and Convent in Nicosia belonging to the Order of St. Francis.
The Armenian Reli&ion has one Church, situate in Nicosia, and also a
Monastery in the Kyrenia District.
There is one Anglican Church, St. Paul's, in Nicosia.
Of Mussulman religious institutions there are in the Island:—

5 Medressehs.
