Service of documents :—
For service ia Cyprus of any document required to be served
through tiio Court such : *e as shall be properly payable to the
police for that purpose, a:.d on payment of such fee to the proper
officer of poli;?, the document will be served ii the same manner
as though it were forwarded for service by an ofricer of the Court.
The fees appointed to he taken by the Police are as follows (aj:—
For the service of any document served within a distance of
three miles of the Court of the Di-trict
For every a.ld:tional three miles or r.Ttion thereof-
But so that the maximum fee charged shall nor in any case
exceed the sum of

.Notice in litru o: Summons :—
Where the Court or Judge shall order that notice of the writ
oi summons may he given by the advertisement thereof and of
the or.ler directing the advertisement iu ta? Cyprus Gizette, the
following charge is made bv the Chief Secretarv :—
For an advertisement not occupying more space than one
column of the Gazette -
For every quarter column or portion thereof beyond
For the service out of Cyprus of any document required to be
served through the Court such sum as shall be actually expended
in effecting such sendee and procuring evidence thereof. Any
Judge or the Begistrar of the Court may,011 application being made
for such service to be effected, require the applicant to deposit in
Court such scm as may be estimated to be uecessary for defraying
the expenses of such service and the procaring of evidence thereof.
In any proceeding not provided for in the above scale, in respect
whereof a fee has heen heretofore chargeable, the same fee shall
continue to be taken as heretofore. A n y suchf=e where expressed
in th? currency of the Ottoman Empire t-> be reckoned at the rate
of H Cyprus piastres for a piastre and SO Cyprus piastres for a
medjid, and where expressed in British currency to be reckoned
at the rate of Ijr Cyprus piastres for every two pence.

ADMIRALTY ACTIONS BEFORE THE SUPREME COURT.
On sealing a writ of summons iu any action:
"Where the amount claimed is £20 or under ...
Where the amouut claimed exceeds £ 2 0 :
"Where no liquidated sum is claimed or where the
recovery of money is not the object of the action...
O n sealing a summons to auy person to attend as a wit–
ness or otherwise
O n euteriug a judgment or order for which no special fee
is provided
On notice of appeal from a final judgment to the Privy
Council
On or.ler giving leave to appeal to tbe Privy Council from
auy order not being afinaljudgmeut
O n review by the Court of any order of a Judge:
Where the amount claimed does not exceed £20
Where the amount claimed exceeds £ 2 0 or where reco–
very of money is not the object of the action
O n application to tax any bill of costs :
For every £ 2 or part thereof claimed
On review of any bill of costs
On sealing anv writ of execution :
T o recover any sum not exceeding £ 2 0
T o recover any sum exceeding £ 2 0 but not exceeding
£50
T o recover anv sun. exceedins £-50
