In the native houses the domestic servants, chieflv
women, are generally clothed, housed and fed,
receiving uo wages, lu some cases payment
is made to male servants, reaching £10 per
annum. In foreign households servants are
housed and fed. and are paid wages as
high, iu some cases, as £4 a mouth. Men are
chiefly emploved.
