Service of documents

For service in Cyprus of any document required to be served
through tlie Court such f.

officer of police, the document will be served in the same manner
as though it were forwarded for service by an officer of the Court.
Tbe fees appointed to be taken by the Pohce are as
(a):—
For the service of any document served within a distance oi
three miles of the C*"»urt of the District
Tor every additional three miles or portion thereof -
But so that the maximum fee charged shall not in any case
exceed the sum of
Kotic-e in lieu of Summons :—
Where the Court or Judge shall order that notice of the writ
of summons m a y be given by the advertisement thereof aud of
the order directing tha advertisement iu the Cypnu Gazette, ths
following charge is made by the Chief Secretary :—
For an advertisement not occupying more space than one
column of the Gazette -
For ererr quarter column or portion thereof beyond -
For the service out of Cyprus of any document required to be .*-
served through the Court such snm as shall hi actually expended
. _.' in effecting such .service and procuring evidence thereof. A n y
Jodge or the Begistrar of the Court may,on application being made "*' '.
• for such service to be effected, require the applicant to deposit in
Court such sum as may be estimated to be necessary for defraying
the expenses of such service and the procuring of evidence thereof.
Iu any proceeding not provided for in the above scale, iu respect
whereof a fee has been heretofore chargeable, the same ies shall
continue to be taken as heretofore. . A n y such fee where expressed
in the currency of the Ottoman Empire to be reckoned at the rats ..-,'.
of lit Cyprus piastres for a piastre and 8 0 Cyprus piastres for a
