The Eye Hospital was built
by subscription to com–
memorate the Jubilee of Her
Majesty the Queen; it is under
the • administration of the
Government.
The Hospital is founded by
voluntary effort, and aided
by Government contribution
of £50 a year, medical at–
tendance, drugs, &c.
The services of the District
Medical Officer and of a
Compounder, together with
medicines, are supplied gratis
by the Government and the
Hospital has, in some past
years, received a money grant
from Government towards its
support.

cines for in-patients are sup–
plied by the Government
gratis.
