SPECIFICATION* OF TAXES. DUTIES. &C.
STAMP DUTIES.
A proportional duty on thj nominal value i.- levied, in accordance with the subjoined
scale, on all Promissory Notes, Orders for Payment, Delegating, Rill* of Exchange,
Acknowledgments of all kinds, Deposit Certificate.-, all Negotiable Documents, all Deris
or Contracts embodying any undertaking, guarantee, partnership or other agreement and
stipulating any fixed sum, Policies of Insurance, and generally nil d.vJh and titles other
than those enumerated in the Schedule of fixed Stamp Duties, in which some fixed
consideration or amount is stipulated.
